We’re currently recruiting for various Youth Practitioner roles within our team, including Youth Worker, Youth Club Support, Youth Mentor, Holiday and Half-Term Club Staff and Volunteer positions. Whether you’re seeking paid employment or eager to volunteer, we welcome your passion and dedication. Experience is appreciated but not always required as many skills will be transferrable. We’re particularly interested in individuals skilled in creative arts and crafts, as well as sports coaching. Lead Youth Worker

They are responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where young people can socialise, learn, and grow. This role involves planning and implementing various programmes, promoting positive relationships, and providing mentorship

The Youth Worker role is integral to the smooth operation and effectiveness of a youth club. Individuals in this position provide valuable assistance to the Lead Youth Worker and other staff members in organising activities, ensuring the well-being of young people, and maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.

Youth Mentor

Leadership, confidence, growth

Provide guidance, mentorship, and emotional support to young peolpe as they navigate barriers and pursue personal and academic goals. Design and develop a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and needs of the mentee. The Youth Mentor operates outside of the youth club environment on a 1:1 or small group basis, often using community assets as the backdrop for mentoring.

Holiday Clubs

The Holiday Club role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and success of youth holiday programmes and activities. This position involves providing assistance and support organising, facilitating, and supervising various recreational, educational, and social activities during half-term and school holiday periods.

As a Volunteer, you play a vital role in supporting the activities and operations of Dizzy Heights - whether that be in a youth club or behind the scenes. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people by providing mentorship, assistance, and support within a community-based setting. Dizzy Heights will offer training opportunities to all staff and volunteers.
